Has anyone calculated a realistic market cap for us if we get approval? Understanding that we could get approved for a number of indications makes it tough to determine but has anyone got a real estimate or range based on market capture of certain indications we're going after?
I ask because looking some of the other big guys, Pfizer's market cap is around $151B but they have like 300 drugs (a lot are generics), Merck is at $230B with only around 50ish drugs, and GSK is around $75B with just over 60 drugs. As a comparison, Madrigal has one drug for a limited number of MASH patients, and they are at around $7B.
Is a decent estimate around $10B per indication for us? Obviously would love to be at the Merck level but honestly have no idea what's realistic. I would assume we'd be higher than Madrigal because they only treat a limited portion of the MASH market but that only narrows me down to $7-$230B (or higher if we think we can be bigger than Merck).
