Yes, that’s correct. What matters is the percentage of OS to the authorized, not which end the increase in authorized shares come from. The source is mute.
Disagree, believe it does matter. Current shareholders could view the roughly one billion in new shares to future equity dilute their shares which in total represent roughly 250k shares - a huge delta difference. Remember, current holders pre split represented an equity share of roughly 95% and post split that 95% has decreased from 250k divided by 1 billion shares.
Further, the delta difference between OS and AS is so great it could distract future interest.
