By blocking CCR5 you are preventing signaling for inflammation and repolarizing macrophages in the tumor, micro environment, and blocking the entry of HIV and on and on and all of these things can occur by blocking CCR5. After understanding the science, plenty of people would take it prophylactically. That would be off label after approval, but maybe with some studies it wouldn’t be.
