To those who asked… thanks! I’m in a part of LA, just south of LAX, by the beach, that’s far enough away from the fires to be safe (hopefully).

It’s gut wrenching to watch my city burn though. Lived in some of those other areas that are still on fire and have many friends evacuated. Some have lost everything overnight.

Here’s the sunset tonight. Some beauty amid the horror. The sun is peeking between two smoke plumes, from two massive fires on two sides of the city. And tonight Hollywood started burning. Crazy times.
