20 years is the statutory maximum sentence. That just means it is the most someone can be sentenced for wire fraud, etc. White collar defendants rarely ever receive the statutory max. In a case like this, defendants often get somewhere between 5-10 years, but it all depends on the Sentencing Guidelines as well as the individual judge's analysis of multiple statutory factors like the seriousness of the offense, promoting respect for the law, etc.
