Interesting article. They determined that collagen mutation and degradation could be the cause of Interocular Glaucoma. But, they didn't spend much time on what causes the degradation and/or mutation of the collagen and pathway. I asked if inflammation could be responsible for the degradation and mutation of ocular collagen. This was the reply:
