Made sense to change the registered agent
Their previous agent, Floyd Briscoe Wright, had been Indicted and convicted for Felony Theft, Willfully Filing False Taxes and a few other charges - sentenced to 5 years with all but 90 days suspended.
The Prosecutor's office said Wright pleaded guilty to felony theft and willfully filing a false tax return as part of an ongoing scheme involving the filings of numerous fraudulent returns. In preparing returns, Wright entered false adjusted gross incomes based on false and inflated business losses, false charitable contributions, fictitious businesses and/or other false filings which minimized his clients’ Maryland tax liabilities and increased their tax refunds.

He's still the registered agent for Lamont's 'TIME Organization LLC', a for-profit corporation with a uncannily similar name to his non-profit...
