Interesting note from the RECOVER webinar - the RECOVER studies are funded to just address Long Haulers from Covid and will NOT do much to investigate other Infection-Associated Chronic Conditions! ME/CFS sufferers who do not have symptoms associated with Covid will not be included in the RECOVER studies! Ouch!
RECOVER got funded to the tune of 512 million. ME/CFS research has to find its own way and funding.
13 request were made to RECOVER to study what they called Covid monoclonal antibodies.
700 people joined the webinar. No specific drugs or treatments were mentioned. Immunomodulators were mentioned. There was a promise to proceed with hast. We shall see.
