What is really ironic is considering solar a "green" industry.
Here I go wondering again.
I wonder how many CO2 filtering plants have been removed from the earth due to solar farms?
I wonder how much surface warming is done by solar farms?
I wonder how much wildlife is closer to extinction due to solar farms and windmill?
I wonder how much rich farm land now grows solar farms instead of food for a world growing population?.
If those that claim to REALLY CARE about going "green", we would be forced to switch back to glass.

Glass is 100% recyclable and can be reused endlessly without losing quality. Recycling glass can help reduce the use of non-renewable resources and emissions, and it can also create jobs and support local economies:
Energy savings: Recycling glass saves more energy than making new glass from raw materials.
Reduced emissions: Recycling glass reduces air pollution by 20% and water pollution by 50%.
Reduced resource use: Recycling glass saves 1.2 tons of raw materials for every ton of recycled glass.
Landfill space: Recycling glass preserves landfill space for non-recyclable waste.
