As the share price dips, we are here bickering with each other. It’s exactly what whoever is suppressing the share price wants to see.
Having bought when Cydy was at the $6 and $7 range, I have been continuing to buy to bring down my average share price. Looking back, I noticed that I bought a bunch of shares in June 2023 for about .25. Since then Cytodyn did the following:
1. Hired Dr Jacob Lalezari, who has done an outstanding job as CEO
2. Had the clinical hold on Leronlimab lifted after 2 and a half years
3. Initiated a number of studies in multiple indications
4. Hired several highly respected and experienced experts to lead in HIV, oncology, inflammation
5. Got approval from the FDA for a trial in oncology
6. Raised enough cash to fund at least two trials
7. Did not ask shareholders to approve additional shares this year
So the result of all this positive activity? In the 18 months the share price is exactly half of what it was in June 2023.
Obviously all that positive news should have pushed the share price up. The fact that the price is much lower strongly suggests that some manipulation is going on. I’m here for the long haul. I hope all of you long time investors are feeling the same. Best to ignore all the noise that is going on around us. We’ll get there when we get there.
