I've a story to tell and a word to the wise. Of course, always do your own research but I have a lesson to share.

If you believe in a stock, don't be shaken out by the manipulators. I was in Apple in early 1997, but I was influenced to sell my position by market manipulators and hedge funds who used to like to play with it when it was more vulnerable and near bankruptcy. I was aware of the company's future plans, believed in them, was aware of some of their skunk projects, and thought they were going to be great. But I had a large position and was concerned I might lose it.

Had I stayed it in, my position would be worth somewhere around 12 million or more today.

For any stock, if you truly believe in it, don't sell. If you need the money, only sell the piece you need and keep the rest in those stocks that you believe in.

Great molecules, like great technology, only come around once in a while. That was a lesson I learned, and I won't make the same mistake again. Yesterday I accumulated more, and I'll keep accumulating with what I can going forward
