Good find. I don’t doubt you are wrong about who ends up controlling LL but it’s way too early in the game to figure out who’s going to do that. I think we have improved our guesses on who that might be based on the press releases and the data that has come out and who is attached to the data.
That Dr. Jay was attached to dolutegravir Isn’t surprising given that he has an over 300 clinical trials. Most of those other authors have done the same thing and they’ve done studies with just about every big player in HIV- ViiV, pfe, GSK, G, BmS, BI, Merck etc.
I have heard several times after the bidding wars happen about exactly who was in the room and how desperate the offers were and I was surprised every time how things shook out. And where I heard these things was not inside or information. They came from public places. Not necessarily who won, but who all the players were In big Pharma how badly they wanted it.
As I have said before, I believe the beginning of these conversations are going on right now, but I don’t know that to be certain. I’m just going on past experience in investing in small biotech who get bought out. NOT From an insiders perspective. Everything I have posted is all IMO. I’m retired, and an outsider just like everyone else on this board.
Hoping for all of us to get the value that we deserve and more importantly, LL to get into the patients that needed it.
