I understand your siege style analogy but if this is the case, then why didn’t those people on LL alone in our previous clinical trials achieve HIV cure? Somewhere on LL for many many years with no cure .

I think the answer is that HIV was lying dormant in the reservoirs and you need to take care of the reservoir in addition to having 100% RO. That’s where ART and the bnabs come in.
