I got a signed baseball from Charlie Hustle about 25 years ago at his Cooperstown booth when me and my eldest where at a huge select baseball tournament there.
We all slept in a barracks and played against some really good teams from around the country, The outside ball fence were at 200 feet. Great times. Got a picture of my Italian friend Tom shaking hands with Leo Durocher, they grew up both on the Hill in St. Louis..
gave the picture to Tom, wish i kept the negatives. Our tournament was the week before induction week so a lot of the greats were there manning booths.
Cardinals were disappointing this year. Now I will root for KC in both baseball and football for the rest of the seasons.
