Merrill Lynch has halted trading on OTC stocks but almost all other brokerages allow it if you are self trading, some will block stocks that are not in OTC compliance. Most disallow brokers advising on OTC stocks. Brokerages will not allow buying of OTC in broker directed accounts and hedge funds will usually not allow their traders to buy OTC without prior approval.
