“By the way, this is just the first of our two new business verticals. In the coming months, we will be disclosing a new MARKET.live business model, already operating and generating revenue , as well as a third, as yet undisclosed business vertical, already operating and generating revenue that some may think is the most exciting of the three, with the greatest upside for VERB and its stockholders”.
I assume what I saw today is MARKET.live NEW business model.
I don't ever remember MARKET.live streaming on weekends. This afternoon THREE events were hosted SIMULTANEOUSLY at the MARKET.live studio in LOS ALAMITOS, Calif
1.) VisiblyToxic - https://visiblytoxic.com/
2.) Companion Candles - https://companioncandles.com/
3.) David Protein - https://davidprotein.com/
At least 2 of the 3 events were hosted by Verb Employees. Maybe the other one was too as they've been hiring people lately.
Each event was two hours but one ran longer as it was doing very well.
Each of these companies have what I call a small social media presence (i.e. few thousand followers). My assumptions is they engaged Market.Live to help promote their products and beef of their following.
I think Verb figured out their is more money to be had by doing that than trying to compete with TikTok, but that is pure speculation. More speculation is TikTok gave VERB some direction, guidance, pipeline of companies that need help, etc. when they were in China which would explain the rocket ships.
Here's what I like about this new model if my speculation is correct. Companies, especially small to midsize can't afford massive marketing, but may not sell squat without some. If you are a company with 1000-2000 followers...what to do...what to do?
Throw $XGs at Market.Live to promote you brand across social media.
A bit more...
None of these events were marketed on any other social media channels nor the Market.Live website. They were exclusive to TT. The event was show on each of these company's TT site and there was a promo video on at lease one. Maybe others as I didn't look.
Here's a screenshot of one of them that had over 7K viewers. The event was very engaging. I like this new MODEL if I've guess right. It no longer 'competes' with TikTok (or any other platform) but compliments them. I can see why TikTok would like that.

Let's assume for a second I'm right about the new MODEL and certainly Zesty Paws also fits that mold.
Why wouldn't VERB announce that now instead of "In the coming months..."
The only thing I can think of is...
Contracts take a long time to finalize.
A couple or more thoughts...
VERB's cost go way down when streaming events through social channels vs doing it on their own. The latter can be very expensive for bandwidth.
VERB has the capabilities. Why aren't they streaming on any of the other platforms except TikTok? Hmmmmm.
