That’s correct, nobody knows. That’s why mitigating risks is what many are doing in the event there is a takeover. And that includes reducing dependency on China with caution towards investments - in China and by China in the US. And the general consensus from my base in Taiwan is it is a question of when, not if.
But make no mistake, the PRC/ROC is second level of importance. Primary is the US putting restrictions/tariffs on China and providing US companies with the backing for them to dominate the US market. Not to be second fiddle with China partnerships.
The point is NOBODY KNOWS if something is going to happen to Taiwan or if something does happen, when it will take place . .
Wall is simply trying to create a scare .
What am I trying to scare? What are you afraid of being scared from. US tariffs and sanctions? US backing US companies with financing, a level playing field etc - what?
