These shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. China’s unfair trade practices are a big contributor to the tariff increases. And of course confidence in China has decreased significantly.
Just think what the impact would be if an invasion moved forward on the ROC by the PRC. Shouldn’t be a mystery why US industry is mitigating its risk with the PRC. Sure seems risky for a company to build a business plan around China. Would expect financing for such a plan might be difficult as well.
