Selling the basketball assets for $4.5M was a great move as it might have taken another 3 to 6 months to sell the 4th > 6th territories - to make 6 needed to start the league - and that would only have brought in $1.2M immediately.
The remainder of the sale fee negotiated for cash into $PSRU was presumably for the rights to ABA Canada, the 2 x ABA USA Celebrity Teams and the ABA Sports Reality Group..
$4.5M would be enough to buy the entire O/S back 5 times over (which of course isn't going to happen) - so it will be exciting to see what percentage buyback might be offered if the CEO doesn't do the deal with a financier / investor to do 50%.
50% using a small portion of the $4.5M to buy at .0001 > .01 is entirely possible.
Watch out for further updates on this in September + another on Fungy NFT marketplace being fully operational (previous estimate was mid-September).
