Two months to save many, many millions in manufacturing costs over the life of Prurisol.  This lower cost of production makes Prurisol that much more valuable once it is proven safe and effective.  I will take a 2 month delay for that new benefit with a smile and a thank you to Dr Reddy's.

Remember, the Prurisol trial would have to be run again once manufacturing changes are implemented for the drug since it would be a totally different product and may have different shelf life, strength, etc.  We are simply waiting for the new lot of product to be manufactured with the new cost-saving steps implemented so the product tested will be the product produced for sale to the end users.
