Solar power is the fastest-growing source of power in the United States with the use of natural gas for electricity generation poised for a year-over-year decline in the second half of 2024, the Energy Information Administration said Tuesday.
In a monthly report, the EIA said electricity demand will be about 2% higher in the second half of 2024, compared with the same period in 2023.
