No, that's not clear at all. Romney got roasted for that tired makers VS takers BS.
He forgot about withholding of Federal taxes, SS and Medicare. THAT'S not the same as paying no taxes, which is what he implied.
Socialism is a lazy charge that overlooks the redistribution of taxes from high GDP states to mostly lower GDP red states. Without that they WOULD be 3rd world states.
FEMA is socialism. So are public schools, police and fire departments; the DOD and NASA too.
