1st study I have seen stating Leronlimab can be given orally.
Abbvie was the original owner of PRO 140 (leronlimab) prior to Progenics. In that patent leronlimab is just used as an example of drugs that could be delivered. They seem to not know that leronlimab is a large molecule since LNP-MPV is for delivery of small molecule drugs only.
The problem with leronlimab and oral delivery is that it is a large molecule and will not generally pass through the gastrointestinal lining. So almost all would be destroyed within the stomach and gut and be excreted. Any encapsulation technique would be even larger than the leronlimab molecule itself and would also not pass through.
