They are screening for CCR5 expression on the tumor or the tumor and the microenvironment. CCR5 delta 32 double allele carriers would definitely be excluded because of lack of expression. They most likely will have a set criteria for the amount of expression above normal levels. This may exclude some of the single allele carriers if expression is not significant enough.
