Bragging rights. Plain and simple. He wants to be #9 of the publicly-owned Black-led companies. Nothing else, IMO. He's shown he's contemptuous (or scared, and maybe rightfully so...time will tell...) of his shareholders so it's not like it's "maximizing shareholder return" or anything keeping him in the game.
