Wldcat Mining - two videos -- launch of the Sister Shelle a year ago and a documentary of sorts on undersea cables. Video of our CEO christening the boat.
Wildcat mining in coming in from the cold , going public with these YouTube videos recently posted openly on Facebook.
Sister Shelle Launch
https://youtu.be/fkk4ScAa9Us?si=-5MaDqGtPHThsJoh
The launch of the 80 foot boat was an event in itself- many people and a lot of equipment involved at Rio Vista CA but they were successful. See Paul Sr. christem the boat with a bottle across the port catamaran hull.
I undersand now why the long wait between launch into the river last year and the voyage getting underway now to Nome. They had to get all the dredging equipment onboard , bolted down and wired in along with hydraulics and electornics after the launch at a dock or shipyard in Antioch, CA which is in the East Bay area. . I see dollar signs everywhere.
Wildcat - cable retrieval and Sister Shelle

These sure feel like promotional videos for Wildcat Mining . Somewhere deep pockets have been involved past and future. Not sure why the documentary on undersea cable unless that dream is still in the back of Paul's mind.
Finally an update on the Voyage of the Sister Shelle - I know now they pronounce it as "Shelly" not "shell" .
No report for 24 hours so maybe it's moved outside ATIS range and if they are taking a course direclty across open water to the Aleutians we might not track it for about 3 days. They'd play it safer keeping to the coast route with fuel and service always nearby but that adds time and fuel burn. This image is from July 4th, 2024 at 0825 Zulu or 3 15 am Friday monning. They are movinig steadily at 8 knots with stops at Port Angeles and Ketchikan that I noted. There may have been others including during the past 24 hours when no tracking was avbl.
