Very Interesting Observation, Ohm. What you have pointed out is that there is a possibility that patients may need to be tested first for single or double Delta-32 mutations similar to some medicines requiring HLA-B*5701 (yes, i know- not the same) for HIV patients.
My question to you and the board: What is the cost of determining the Delta-32 allele status and is this as simple as checking a box to add it to bloodwork?
What are your thoughts on testing for Delta-32 across various disease states? Seems to me this might be necessary to maximize our results although Double D-32Deletion is relatively rare but as you point out- it can have a significant impact on our trials.
