ohm,
what are your thoughts regarding the synergy that may or may not occur between leronlimab and resmetirom?
do you suspect that leronlimab may be able to reduce the dosage of resmetirom and still achieve same results?
resmetirom is a partial agonist of THR-Beta and results in reduction of intra-hepatic triglycerides. By lowering these triglycerides, less liver fat is formed.
Through what biomarker would you suspect leronlimab might assist?
What I noticed in the 350 group was that there were modest increases in both Thyroxine Free and Triiodothyronine. Triiodothyronine, also known as T3, is one of the two main hormones your thyroid gland releases into your bloodstream. Your thyroid also produces thyroxine, also known as T4 and tetraiodothyronine. T4 and T3 work together and are commonly referred to as “thyroid hormone."
Could the increases in T3 and T4 have led to the improvements in the 350mg dosed patients?
Bio-Markers in NASH
Look at T3 and T4.
