Welcome to the posting side of this endeavor. I’ll give you the same advice I give anyone. Don’t be a Craig. You’re off to a successful start, so keep up the good work.
On a different board it was noted that since the mice aren’t developing their fatty livers until week 9 as part of the process, this would mean with a 12 week study we’d be finishing when each of these mice are supposed to have full blown liver cancer. If that’s the case, and it makes sense that it is, we could inadvertently see some effect without extending anything. But it would make sense to be prepared to watch longer if anything is happening. I can’t imagine it’s all that expense in the grand scheme of things.
Can you imagine if Leron outperformed Madrigal’s drug AND these Nash/Mash mice had a noticeable shift in the expected 20wk cancer?
That being said, we need to know if there’s reason to believe LL could delay or stop that process before getting excited about anything. And I honestly have no idea of that could be the case. I’m more of the board’s wine and steak expert.
