I think it’s the antithesis of abandon all hope ye who enter here. Some days I just chalk it up to cytokine billiards, let it go and welcome the hope that it brings.
While OHM is pretty good with a pool stick, I think he has an important key insight beyond the unraveling of the up-regulation/down-regulation going on…the deft touch involved with an allosteric blockade of CCR5 allows alternate ligand receptors to function and the immune modulation we are seeing is coming without significant side effects and the restoration of normal immune function.
