I'm from Dublin, Ireland...SO,... I feel compelled to mention again... this particular incident with Ms Sweeney...God Bless her soul....and how it very likely changed the course of history...
An old friend of mine from my early twenties,....told me about the landing at Normandy,,,he referred to himself as John McClain of Allemange...part of the three Canadian divisions that were in the conflict...he was wounded on the beach with grenade shrapnel...total wild man.
In addition to that...has anyone read Thomas Cahill's book on "How the Irish saved Civilization."...a great read. What Next you ask?
