It's possible but China is always claiming new breakthroughs that are completely fake. What makes me think this is one of those - The man was first treated in 2021 if they saw any progress between then and now how come other patients haven't been proclaimed as cures?
It's like Israel biopharmas often claiming they have a cure for all cancers when it turns out to be a pump and dump scheme for their stock. Except in this case it would be to bolster the CCPs standing in the world. I'll believe it when it's been independently verified by multiple scientists outside China.
