"Respectfully disagree. BP is big business and their impulse toward greed means they are attracted to revenue. MRK generated 25 billion last year on Keytruda. They wouldn’t consider shelving that drug! You don’t put your War Admirals and Sea Biscuits in the Barn, you get them on the track."
A BP company will have one of two views on LL. Either it works or it doesn't. If it doesn't, why spend billions on a worthless product.? If it does work, why put it on the shelf when it can generate billions in revenue for you.? It doesn't make sense. Plus, they need to answer to their shareholders, and while some stuff at large companies can be "buried", the multi-billion dollar acquisition of LL certainly can not.
