It should come as no surprise that some PRs are more ‘meaty’ than others. The 06 May was Filet Mignon. The latest one announcing our move into Cambodia as a future second production center was a pretty tasty hamburger. Not a Filet but it ain’t chopped liver, either. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
The same is true of the PR of 28 Mar citing a research paper from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (“RPI”) outlining a new and novel method of creating spider silk protein from waste plastics. I couldn’t tell you the science behind their method if my life depended on it. Thankfully, I don’t have to. Or even how CEO Thompson sees this in connection to future endeavors of Kraig Biocraft. In other words, it ain’t Filet. But this is true. I trust our CEO and our COO and Dr. Nirmal Kumar. Outstanding individuals who deserve a lot of credit. If our CEO thought it worthy of a PR then that’s good enough for me.
Does either one of these tasty hamburgers, RPI research paper or Cambodian future production center, have an eye-popping, immediate impact on the share price? No, of course not. The SP drops usually. Not ‘bottom fell out’ type of drop but a drop nonetheless. Short term selling does not fortunes make. ‘Flipping’ for ‘free’ shares is a good investment strategy but in the short term it’s chancy. At ten to twelve cents, we are definitely in the short term for flipping shares.
I’ve been invested here longer than most. I called KBLB many years ago and the CEO actually answered the phone. I doubt that would happen today. We have grown, and learned along the way. Progress is NOT a straight line upwards. It is very much like an upward directed (bottom left to top right) share price graph. The dips represent missteps but, over time, we are on a very good trajectory. Our future, while not guaranteed, is strong, clear, and bright.
Truth_is_a_tool recently wrote, “Anything under a dime is a steal.” I’d say anything under a dollar is a steal. KBLB is an undiscovered gold mine and a ridiculously underpriced one. I’ll put this out there. Mr. CEO knew the financials would come out today and would be greeted w/ the usual screeching and catcalls from the overpaid actors. So why not let everybody know about the Cambodian opportunity? Why waste a stellar PR in a week when the bowery boys and short-term players would use the financials to discredit and downplay fantastic news? Savvy move … again.
It all comes down to Trust, now doesn’t it? Who do you trust and why do you trust them? I don’t have any inside info. Never have had. I write from the gut. At first, I loved the science and the idea of transforming an industry from a simple idea between Dr. Malcolm Fraser at Notre Dame University and a retired, very successful lawyer who has always enjoyed science. He was looking for a challenge worthy of his god-given intellect and talent. Kim asked him if IT was possible and Dr. Fraser said yes. At first I trusted and believed I made a great investment. Now, I know I did. Nearly two decades later, we are on the verge of making world-changing history.
I stopped feeling sorry for or getting upset w/ the bashturds. At the end of the day, they will slime their way to another stock board. Their anger and frustration has consumed them and so they lash out childishly. Petty is not Pretty. Never has been. Our success will be ignored and belittled. Their poor behavior is a stain on their character. The stain may fade over time but the stench remains forever. Nobody trusts them and never will.
Which means … what else? … BUY MORE SHARES !!!
We are the * NEXT * BIG * THING * FULL STOP.
