That's what first came to my mind. Although not from Patterson's work since some of those results are very contradictory to almost all other studies. Which may be the result of a very small patient population.
I would guess that current drugs used in CRC are not highly effective compared to what leronlimab could do, which would make it much easier to hit statistical significance.
