Hedge funds always seem to know in advance. I'm sure -- POSITIVE -- that no one in the FDA would in any way leak information to them.
That said, we've seen this before -- a run-up to give "them" a chance to short from a higher level. I hope it's some blabbermouth in the FDA leaking info, not another short attack.
