My guess is that politicians don’t have their hands in the TikTok cookie jar yet and this ban is to make sure all hands get in that jar. It’s like the sports betting apps made illegal in NY for about 3 weeks it seems. Close the door, politicians hands in cookie jar, magically legal again.
