When I buy on Etrade i can narrow it to as many decimal points as I like - eg $0.1467 cents. When I buy shares in Fidelity they don’t let me fraction out the price so the limit price I have had to purchase is to the penny ie 15¢on the nose instead of $0.1467. I found that very frustrating- especially at these prices - that can mean several percent difference in share price purchased. For this reason I only buy in my Etrade account.
