It had me a bit baffled as to why ENRAGE showed significance but CRP did not. I took a little dive into the structure and activities of CRP. I may have found a possible answer. CRP is measured from a blood sample by flow cytometry. So what it measures is free floating not bound CRP. CRP needs intracellular CA2+ to structurally conform to a state where it can bind. Leronlimab of course downregulates CA2+. So the CRP that was created by the inflammatory factors stays in the bloodstream and doesn't drop because it does not bind. Over a very lengthy period of time it might drop anyway. But I don't want to take the time to try and figure that one out.
If anyone has contacts within Cytodyn it might be worthwhile to pass this along.
ps. maraviroc doesn't drop CRP levels either.
