Argonaut is the gold miner that got Mexus investor's hopes up in the falll of 2015 when it had a short term exploration program on the Santa Elena claims. Argonaut decided at last, last minute it would not exercise its option to partner with Mexus. Alamos Gold is acquiring Argonaut per this press release:

Notes on Mexus Gold:
Satellite imagery shows no new excavation at the minesite. Last new work was before December - and it was never clear what that work entailed or who was doing it. . Excavation was evident at several areas of the Santa Elena claim. Images were posted here on IHANG.
The Sister Shelle is still in California waters -has not moved to Alaska. Waiting on weather.
The CEO visited Mexico the first week in March of this year.
There has been activity in the home office. There is reported progress on getting audits updated and released.
