I’m not sure how that works, if that means that people shorted then closed and others shorted over and over again. Or if there was really all those shares short at the same time, which would mean any buying pressure or any big news at that time would absolutely crush shorts as they try and cover with only 25 million OS, it would be nearly impossible to cover unless share price rockets to tens of dollars.
