The answer to that is best served up hot by the likes of OHM20 or others here but Leronlimab to my knowledge is the only drug that has shown signs of actually reversing fibrosis…that is next level impact. I’m not going to hype Madrigal’s drug as I think Leronlimab can stand on its own two feet quite well, however the larger game of “strategery” suggests we may be best off with limited capital making other drugs look like super-heroes and extend some of their patent protections.
Personally I would like to see the HIV anti-inflammatory study fast tracked while looking at partnerships for other indications like MASH or cancer that will require large, expensive and time protracted investments to results. The HIV study is quick and should easily suggest a Broadway hit for a multitude of clinical indications. Getting out of the current tar-pit requires a bit of three-dimensional game theory…I am convinced Dr. J see’s the road ahead and has all the moves mapped out.
