There are advantages and disadvantages to bureaucracy, We aren't injecting bleach, but during a Pandemic not moving fast on drugs that appear to working.
Got this back from the head of infectious diseases at UCLA in May 2020:
Most everything, if not everything, that physicians are trying on SARS-CoV-2 positive patients is 100% experimental.
Leronlimab (an anti-CCR5 monoclonal) is just one of them in a series of "voodoo" therapeutic trials.
There's lots of hammers looking for nails.

At that point I knew we were in trouble and up against the DOD and FDA complex. Subsequent emails about recommending LL to the NIH found me really questioning what was going on behind the scenes with BP and the FDA.
