Per the FDA Mission statement -
"FDA Mission
The Food and Drug Administration is responsible for protecting the public health by ensuring the safety, efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, and medical devices; and by ensuring the safety of our nation's food supply, cosmetics, and products that emit radiation."
- I'm wondering where it gives them the power to tell a private company they CANNOT set the design/dosing parameters of their own drug and study.
Who the hell are they - government bureaucrats - to tell a private company what to do at such a granular level? Shouldn't a private company be able to design it's own study, run the study, then publish the results - and if "safe and effective" - the drug gets approved?
These FDA bureaucrats have the power of despots.
