I don't personally know anyone stupid enough not to believe that moving the source of pollution away from you and toward someone else DOESN'T benefit you at their expense, but I hope you realize that the new coal burning to support "muh lectric cars" will yield back to you more mercury contaminated corn (and therefore meat) products, as that on what the displaced emissions will differentially land. But as a rational choice I can find no fault: no studies I know of compare the two types of health stress: lung damage from car emissions vs. reproductive and other damage from eating coal ash contaminated feedstock.
