Humankinds tolerance around death is calibrated around statistics...the bigger the number...somehow charts the course for acceptance as a given...somebody is born...somebody dies...all built in to a frame of reference...similar to "collateral damage"..."acceptable losses"...It is how We are wired...sadly.

I was probably 8-9 years old...neighbors a block or two away...large family of which a little girl died from leukemia...it had a chilling effect on my thinking...I was self-horrified at my thoughts..better her than...it cast a shroud...it has stuck with me to this day...feels terribly callous...I have no defence.

Another thought...Uplisting has not been the subject of much conversation...with the Queen of Compliance sitting in the COB chair...I feel it will happen this year...organically.
