It would most likely be of help. In the initial measles infection the virus invades monocytes and suppresses immune response. The later emergence of mutated measles in the brain does the same. As shown in other viral diseases leronlimab can reverse the trajectory of decreasing CD4 and CD8 T-cells. In the brain infection damage is caused by the virus itself but overwhelmingly by the inflammation. Leronlimab reverses inflammation.
I added encephalitis to my diseases to look at some time in the future.
