Glad too. Started out as an executive VP working in Kowloon(Hong Kong). Learned early that while the HK dollar was stable the low unemployment rate made it tough to hire people as the company grew. Moved the manufacturing facility to Shenzhen while keeping Corp offices in HK.
It became apparent that to be in China you needed to be in China, relocated to Shanghai - best move. A city with 22m population and a highly educated workforce. Still in operation.
Korea - too tough due to localization program. Taiwan, too expensive. The Philippines was a nice trial due to speaking the language, but the culture was vastly different . Singapore was already using Malaysia as a low cost labor so a no go.
Is this good enough for you. san nin faai lok
