We need to keep from jumping to conclusions without peer reviewed studies and data on statins. The medical industry and thousands of practicing doctors have demonstrated these medications are helpful and have no harmful side effects. Millions of people take these drugs and have protected them from the pitfalls of high blood pressure and high cholesterol. There are no compelling studies that prove otherwise. Please don't partake in spreading mis/disinformation. You could cause someone to lose their father or grandfather because his cholesterol was ignored because of this type of rhetoric.
