do you think the new protocol will measure the level of viremia by measuring CD4 and CD8?
They'll directly measure levels of HIV by flow cytometry just as they did in the HIV trials. CD4 and CD8 counts aren't specific enough. However they'll almost certainly do CD4 and CD8 counts to show what leronlimab does in comparison to ART.

I was thinking something like:
Biomarkers that increase as inflammation increases. A = (ENRAGE + RANTES + Tissue Inhibitor of MetalloProteinases + Interferon Gamma + IL-3 + IL-7 + IL-8 + IL-12 + IL-23)
Biomarkers that increase as proliferation increases. E = (MMP3 + MMP9 + VEGF + IL-2 + IL-4 + IL-5 + IL-10 + IL-13 + Platelet Derived Growth Factor (PDGF)+ Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF)+ Transforming Growth Factor Beta (TGF Beta)+ Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF))
Good outline. I would add IFN-a, NF-kb and TNF-a. But the more the better even if peripheral to inflammation. The more factors that are done now the easier it will be to provide mechanism of action for other trials.
